What could be better? 4m weather on the right kit for a change, and bright sunshine... well, the wind could have blown for more than 1/2hr after I arrived!

Had a bit of pre-warning - I overheard Nik saying that the wind had just gone NE in the Solent, so knew that a wind-switch was on the way. Had just over hr of excellent fun, and then the wind just stopped completely. Funny seeing everyone blobbing/sinking on their way back in, after screaming around a few seconds before.

On the positive, I've not used my Acid for AGES - I got it off the racks to find a stuck-on note saying "fix this hole", which I didn't even remember, so had to quickly get the epoxy out before heading to the beach. Had to rummage in the loft to find my 4m too...

A really good sail though - short but sweet.
